Petoskey

We are still here in Petoskey, Michigan.  We were up and and ready to go this morning but the winds began to pick up and they put out small craft warnings for this area on the lake. We are glad we stayed put today not wanting to get beat up by the winds and waves again.  We had a chance to explore the town and enjoy a little downtime. We were excited to find the Clydesdales were in town and making deliveries.  We followed them for quite a while enjoying the view. We also discovered the Petoskey stone.  It is Michigan's state rock. This beautiful rock is found in Michigan and then polished and graded for its quality much like a diamond would be.It is then fashioned into jewelry, knives and other very unique pieces. This is a very neat stop but   hopefully we will be able to move on tomorrow.
